BeJae Fleming: Links
- Dirty Birdie Vintage Clothing
- A collection of vintage clothing for sale by the beautiful daughters of fabulously talented photographer and friend of Trailer Records, Sandy Dyas
- Photographs by Sandy Dyas
- Sandy honored me by including me in her book, Down By the River: Portraits of Iowa Musicians.
- David Zollo
- David produced and played keyboards on the BeJae Fleming's most recent CD, Destination Unimportant. David sang, played keyboards and co-wrote a song on BeJaeās 2000 Trailer release, Navigating Limbo. Besides his great skill as a musician and songwriter, David is founder of Trailer Records.
- Patrick Bloom
- Patrick is a Trailer Records artist, a gritty, poetic songwriter and a gifted recording engineer and producer. Patrick engineered, mastered and added percussion to Destination Unimportant, the new release from the BeJae Fleming Trio.
- Brother Trucker
- Brother Trucker is Americana music at its best. Singer/songwriter/frontman, Andy Fleming, co-wrote "Rudy's," the song that gave the BeJae Fleming's new release, Destination Unimportant, it's title. Andy writes exquisitely tight lyrics, blue-collar, down-and-out, poignant, sublime.
- Bo Ramsey
- Singer, songwriter, producer and guitar slinger, Bo did time in Lucinda Williams' band and currently backs up both Browns, Pieta and Greg. Bo played on BeJae's second Trailer Records release, Navigating Limbo. He's a treasure.
- Pieta Brown
- Pieta's new CD, In the Cool, with Bo Ramsey, is one of the best records of '05 (in BeJae's not so humble opinion). Pieta writes like Bo plays: sparse, evocative, captivating.
- The Pines
- David Huckfelt and Benson Ramsey (Bo Ramsey's son) are throwbacks, young guys with an experimental edge and a ghostly vibe. Fabulous.
- Jack Norton and the Mullet River Boys
- Jack co-wrote two songs on the BeJae Fleming release, Destination Unimportant. An astonishingly prolific songwriter and storyteller, Jack has been touring since his early teens. The Mullet River Boys is a great bluegrass/vaudeville/old-time band.
- Joe Price and Vickie Price
- Iowa Blues Hall of Famer, Joe Price, is as hauntingly authentic as they come. Great songs, great guitar playing. Vickie's songs are as warm and inviting as a hot fire on an Iowa winter night.
- Jim Ritchey (on CD Baby)
- Jim Ritchey and BeJae Fleming were married and toured together as a duo for twelve years. On this live CD, Jim covers BeJae's song, Let's Drive On. Jim is a remarkable songwriter.
- Gayla Drake Paul
- One of the most gifted guitar players on the acoustic scene, Gayla is also a magnificent singer and songwriter.
- The Burnin' Sensations
- The Burnin' Sensations are a high-energy cover band from Ames, IA. Ron Carson is the bass player in the band and proves once again that bass rules.
- Shame Train
- Singer/songwriter Sam Knutson fronts this Iowa City Americana band. Sam writes clever, addictive songs that make you want to stay up all night and drink (or something) and listen, and listen, and listen.
- John Pearse Strings
- BeJae endorses John Pearse guitar strings. They sound great and they last a long time.
- G 7th Performance Capo
- This is the easiest, best capo I ever used, a great product.
- Trailer Records
- Trailer Records is based in Iowa City and has a remarkable roster of Iowa roots musicians.
